1. This country needs an experienced president, who has proven himself. Senator McCain has. Obama has not.
2 The Dem Party needs to fully understand that we will not tolerate having the nominee selected. They cannot steal the nomination from the candidate who won the majority of the popular vote. They cannot condon sexism, as they did. They cannot tell us to “fall in line” when they screwed over us. They need a huge lesson, and to be held accountable. Beating Obama by voting for McCain will help accomplish that.I do not agree with McCain. But I feel that he loves this country and has the ability to ensure our security. Obama will place this country at risk. I have accepted that it is necessary to bite the bullet for the short term, give the Reps the White House for four more years, in order to make the necessary long term gains. McCain is much more tolerable to me than a lot of other Reps would be.
My vote is a protest vote. It is also a vote to save this country from a corrupt egomaniacal, poser who served in the senate for a couple of days and said – screw this. I’ll just be president. I’m half AA, that’s the only qualification necessary. The rest of the progressives jumped on his bandwagon because he is AA – for no other reason.
In my experience, skin color, alone, does not qualify one for any position – certainly not president.
